The end of the summer...

Summer in Holland lasted a whole day, luckily a saturday, so we made it to the beach. I am such a strong man that the North Sea water temperature of 15 C did not stop me from bathing!





Last weekend it was the "farm day" at school. I now want my own cow and rabbits at home, but it might take some convincing to do..

The Zoo!

Our visit to the Zoo in Amsterdam was so much fun. The seals were my favourite..!!





And mum also took me to the animal farm. I tried to catch a duck for dinner, but they are faster than me!





Mama is teaching me to help her around the house. She says that 13 months is the ideal age to start learning. Hummmm... I am not so sure...

I can walk...

At 1 year and 1 day I made my first steps ...it was so exciting that it is all I want to do ALL DAY LONG! I have been practising in the garden with mum and dad, je je je life as they know it is over! Now they will have to chase me around!

Ya soy mayor!

Ya tengo un ano! I am one year old! I was the center of attention all day long, so I loved it. Mum and dad bought cakes and presents, my school friends sang to me, I played all evening so I did not want the day to end (and totally refused to go to bed). I can't wait for next year.

Mum And Dad got hitched!

It has been a busy time renovating the new house and preparing mum and dad's wedding. It was a beautiful sunny day in Oviedo; mum was dressed like a princess and dad and his friends drank like sailors, so they had fun..!

While in Oviedo, I got to meet my "english family" ...my cousin Eva liked to poke me in the eye and I enjoyed pulling her hair. So we really connected!!






I just turned 11 months and cannot be left unattended for more than 2 seconds as I like to explore, practise walking and going up the stairs on my own; since I don't have the balance yet, I still hurt myself everywhere...

La primavera...

Finally some good weather!! We have been able to use the garden in the house, only yesterday I was driving my new BMW around...cool!

It had to happen...

...sooner or later.....living in Holland and with a very Dutch daddy, it was only a question of time. So at 8 months and 1 week I have ridden a bicycle for the first time.



It was so much fun!! Dad bought mum a beautiful "mother's fiets" with a seat for me in the front. We can't wait for the good weather to go out on a family excursion...



....but first we are going to Spain again to see the granparents. I will post again when we are back.
